Highlights

This hike starts from old agricultural estate high in the hills and descends into the rain forest. The hike takes about an hour each way on an often muddy trail. For much of the time you are going down a path cut into one side of a huge valley. You have the opportunity to see lots of bird life and, occasionally, monkeys. At the bottom of the valley, meet the river and climb a short way up to our destination. Here two waterfalls cascade into perfect swimming pools. Fish and crayfish dart around in the river. It is a perfect place for a swim. You will feel wonderfully refreshed by the cool mountain water-- your hair will feel specially soft afterwards.

  • 5Great Hike, Beautiful Falls, Cheeky Monkeys

Lindon and Parker were wonderful guides on our journey through the Grand Etang National Park. They were both very kind, personable, and informative. They continually taught us about their beautiful homeland, Grenada, and put forth great effort to ensure that we had a great time. The hike to the Seven Sisters Waterfalls was moderately challenging, which we enjoyed, but it is important that one be sure-footed and somewhat in shape to do it. When they recommend wearing hiking shoes/boots, they mean it. The trails are slick and muddy; it is a rainforest after all! At the end of the day, we got some good exercise, saw some gorgeous falls, and even got to interact with the famous Mona monkeys, much to the delight of my wife. Our guides, Lindon and Parker, couldn’t have been kinder. Go on this excursion. You will not regret it.

  • 510/10 Experience

Our tour guide was very patient as some of the people in our group were slower due to wet, slippery terrain that day. When we got to the waterfalls, he let us enjoy our time without any rush. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the natural waterfall pools, so it was extra special! Once in a lifetime experience that I was happy to have booked through this company.

  • 5Great way to spend half a day

Brilliant tour. Royle was a great guide and took his time taking us to the key sites on the way to the waterfall with lots of local knowledge. The waterfalls were definitely worth the visit despite a slippery walk down. Swimming in the pools was magic. Saw a wild monkey on the way down. Good to see other parts of the island too. Definitely recommend.

  • 5It wasn't really any...

It wasn't really any excursions that you can do as a solo traveler... But I found this and the price was reasonable. Tour guide Michael was knowledgeable and friendly.. Be somewhat in shape because The hike to the waterfall can be difficult for some. Other than that the waterfall is beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

  • 5Private hike

I'm a solo female traveler and I only had one day for hiking at Grenada. Booked this tour, Michael was the best! We hiked for 2 and half hours. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable in local history and culture. Highly recommend! This was a medium level hike, shaded, very scenic!

About Grand Anse

Grand Anse is Grenada's best-known beach, a long curve of white sand on the south-west coast, with resorts behind and St George's nearby.

Grand Anse is both a bay and the resort district around it on the south-west coast of Grenada, the Spice Island. The beach runs for about three kilometres in a gentle curve of pale sand and calm water, with palms along the edge, and with hotels, beach bars and small shops behind. Sailboats ride at anchor offshore, and the sun sets over the Caribbean Sea in the evening.
