• 5Wonderful Experience with an Awesome Guide!

  If you book a tour with Roatan Breakaway Tours, you absolutely must ask for JJ (Jason) Carter. He was spectacular. He was funny, informative, and even veered off our planned route to make a couple of stops for some of our special requests like locally grown coffee beans and cigars. He was honest about the best places to buy authentic without getting scammed. He gave us plenty of time at each stop. He also sang songs for us as an added bonus. The monkeys and sloths may have been my favorite part because of all the interaction and photo/video opportunities, but we enjoyed every part of the tour, and Roatan is a beautiful place. We will definitely be back on future cruises. Thank you JJ for making our Anniversary Cruise fun and memorable!

  Can't say it enough. We have been to Honduras more than once, and this was the best experience. Our guide was tremendous; just our family in the car. Very personalized, and we can't say enough good things.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We had an incredible experience on the Roatan Sloths & Monkeys, Chocolate Factory plus Beach Break tour, and Teshara made it truly exceptional! She was warm, professional, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome (including from the moment we met her. She kept the day organized while sharing interesting facts about Roatán, answered every question with a smile, and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop. The sloths and monkeys were unforgettable, the chocolate factory was delicious, and the beach break was the perfect way to relax. Teshara’s positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm made this one of the best excursions of our cruise. We highly recommend this tour, and if you get Teshara as your guide, consider yourself lucky. She is amazing! I hope you had as much fun as we did, Teshara—we’ll definitely recommend this tour to friends and family!

• 5AWESOME Experience!!!

  This was one of the best tours and tour experiences I have ever had. The experiences were great and what put it over the top was our tour guide. HE WAS AMAZING!!!! And to top it off he brought his daughter along what was awesome because it gave our daughter someone to play with the entire time. My only regret is that I can't remember his name. But when I figure it out, I'm going to request him as our guide again next year when we return.

  An amazing experience! My family enjoyed getting up close and personal with the animals. Our tour guide Ernie was amazing! He really looked out for us on all the best places to travel in the area and we had the best lunch!

• 5Great tour guide for a fun tour!

  We were in Roatan for the day from a cruise. We had Diola as our tour guide and she was amazing! She gave us lots of details about the island and answered my husband’s endless questions! The tour itself was great! We loved seeing the animals up close and having chocolate and rum! I’d never had Rum Cake and it was delicious and they have a little bar out back with a beautiful view where we enjoyed a drink. I would definitely recommend using this company while you’re in Roatan.

About Roatan

Roatan is the largest of Honduras's Bay Islands, a long, narrow Caribbean island with white-sand beaches, reefs for diving and small fishing communities.

Roatan lies off the north coast of Honduras, a long ridge of green hills only a few kilometres wide. Its north shore faces the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest in the world, so snorkelling and scuba diving are the main attractions. West Bay Beach has a long curve of soft sand and shallow clear water, and West End, a laid-back village of dive shops, is nearby.
