Blue grotto Not to be confused with the Blue Lagoon, which is located in the North West of the archipelago, in the island of Comino, the Blue Grotto is a complex of seven caves found along the southern coast of the island, right across from the little islet of Filfla, and less than a kilometre west of Wied iż-Żurrieq. The place actually got its name in the 1950s, when a British soldier visiting the area and compared it to Capri’s famous Grotta Azzura, which basically means ‘Blue Grotto’, because of its amazing clear, bright blue waters
Malta is a beautiful country, one that is absolutely packed full of beautiful landscapes and amazing places to see. If you are keen to experience stunning panoramic coastal views then make sure to head to the Dingli Cliffs. In our Aquarium the first area is themed around the Dingli Cliffs, the same exact cliffs that are located not far from the village of Dingli. Located on Malta’s western coast, at 253 metres above sea-level the Dingli Cliffs are the highest part of the Island. The cliffs became a popular attraction for tourists visiting Malta

About Valletta
Valletta is Malta's tiny walled capital on a rocky peninsula, built by the Knights of St John with baroque palaces, a deep harbour and a Caravaggio.
Valletta was founded in 1566 by the Order of St John, a year after the Great Siege of Malta, and laid out on a grid of streets on a narrow peninsula between two harbours. The whole city is a World Heritage site. St John's Co-Cathedral looks plain outside but is gilded within, and holds Caravaggio's Beheading of Saint John the Baptist. The Grand Master's Palace and the Upper Barrakka Gardens look over Grand Harbour.
Top-ranked sights in Valletta: Upper Barrakka Gardens, St. John's Co-Cathedral (Kon-Katidral ta' San Gwann), Grand Master's Palace.
