5Very well organized tour...
Very well organized tour of the city, conducted by someone who is very knowledgeable of the city and country history. Sandrine, the guide, is very familiar with the city and provided great recommendations for additional activities and places to dine.
5Nice way to get...
Nice way to get highlights of the city, historical overview, local insight, and general orientation all in just a few hours.
5It was a very informative...
It was a very informative tour. Our guide, Luc, was professional yet friendly. It was good to get a curated set of rich information for each of the spots we visited. We asked to end the tour earlier because of the cold and our boy who started to feel ill. Still, it was a great experience overall and well worth our time.
5An insight into the Duchy of Luxembourg
Our guide, Maria, was so informative and thorough. She shared a lot about history but also a lot about culture and languages. She made our tour fun as well as interesting.
5Nice informative stroll
Luc was an excellent resource about the history and architecture of Luxembourg. He went over and above our expectations, showing us the cathedral where he volunteers. He also accompanied us to the House of Chocolate where we had a unique hot chocolate experience. It was definitely a must do in Luxembourg. We highly recommend Luc if you visit Luxembourg.
3Just ok
I liked the walking but the guide wasn’t very organized with her information. I ended up reading about it later to understand.

About Luxembourg City
Luxembourg City is the capital of the Grand Duchy, a hilltop fortress city of deep gorges, old ramparts and European institutions.
Luxembourg City stands on a rocky plateau cut by the gorges of the Alzette and Pétrusse rivers, and its old quarters and fortifications are a World Heritage Site. The Bock Promontory, with tunnels and casemates carved into the rock, was first fortified in 963, and the Corniche promenade follows the old ramparts above the Grund, the old lower town. The Grand Ducal Palace stands in the old town, and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame was begun by the Jesuits in the early seventeenth century.
