The Pipeline road is and old service road made by the US Army during WWll then abandom and eated by the rain forest and reopened in 1988 by the Smithsonian for their scientist have a safe place to study the nature, animals plants, trees or everything in the tropics it is a 17 kilometers long but we only do 5 hours of hiking is very easy, mostly flat, a bit mundo during the rainy season
