5Pipeline Trail
Lovely walk along the pipeline trail. Our guide was informative and enthusiastic, pointing out different flora and fauna during the hike.
5Soft gentle hike into the cloud forest with a experienced guide.
Beautiful place, awesome views . Our guide ( Landau) was patient with my wife so we took it slowly. The weather was typical for this season of the year but awesome.
3A very basic nature walk
The wall was very easy, on a popular trail through a very accessible area of local rainforest. We saw many other hikers during the walk. For this reason, we did not see many birds or animals, though we heard some Howler monkeys higher up in the mountains. We did see a decent amount of insects of different kinds (butterflies, beetles, etc.), and quite a variety of plants and trees, and heard about them from the guide. We would like to have seen more birds and animals, but the guide kept us on the main trail, and combined with all the talking, if probably would have scared away anything that was nearby. It would be nice if there were an option to go on a nocturnal hike, where we could probably see much more.
5Pipeline Trail was close to as advertised
The experience was nice. The walk was fairly easy. Walked over a few rocks and bridges. We didn't see too much wildlife. Our guide was truly the best. I don't know how his name is spelled, but Jaime (sp?) he was awesome! There was more to the trail but I guess we stopped and looked at flowers and scenery too much, we had to turn around as our time had slipped by too quickly.
5Jaime was an amazing...
Jaime was an amazing guide, he just knew the place inside and out. He explained so much to us and made the whole hike very interesting. Unfortunately we got very unlucky with the weather with heavy rain almost all day but that’s just weather.
5Saw male and female resplendent quetzals!
Absolutely fantastic. Excellent forest tour, an easy hike with a superb guide. Suitable for pretty much anyone.
