Set against the backdrop of Casco Bay, you’ll move through an all-levels flow while breathing in salt air, feeling the ocean breeze on your skin, and taking in the quiet rhythm of the water. We’ll move through gentle, grounding flow and close with savasana, including an optional cooling lavender-soaked towel. Want to make the morning feel a little more special? The Portland Observatory, a shingled signal tower of 1807, is the last of its kind in the country, and the Victoria Mansion is a richly decorated Italianate house of the 1860s. The poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was born here in 1807.
