Destaques
I have a great knowledge of Sussex and the local countryside, including the best paths to follow to the most stunning sites and views. From an ecological point of view, my tour is the only one that goes to both Charleston and Rathfinney without the use of private vehicles and is therefore completely sustainable. The walk is approximately 9 miles in total, and what better way to finish, than treating yourself with a spectacular Sunday roast, meal and bottle of divine English bubbles. I can tailor make the tour, so that you can eat and drink wherever you fancy en route. I can also include an uber from Rathfinney back to Seaford station as I've discovered that most people aren't keen to walk after a big lunch. Just let me know what you fancy.

Itinerário
Beautiful ex farmhouse home of Virginia Woolf and The Bloomsbury set. It costs £21 if you would like a your of the house ( pay on the day or book in advance) and see the wonderful artwork. You can tour the outer gardens and barns for free. There are often art exhibitions at Charleston, which will also incorporate an additional fee.
Bloomsbury set paintings in this quaint and charming church. Talented painter Edward Le Bas modelled for the figure of Christ.
Stop for a pint of local Harvey's beer at this charming Englush country pub.
Large and lovely wine estate atop the sweeping south downs. Although it is only a 15 minute walk from Alfriston, it's a steep 1500 metre climb from the entrance to the wine tasting building. Snacks are available at the cafe with outside seating and spectacular views across the vineyard. If you would like to book lunch or dinner in rather restaurant or Flint Barns, please let me know.
A half hour walk accross the fiekds from Berwick village lies the chocolate box village of Alfriston. Spend a little time browsing the antique shops and galleries in this charming riverside location.

About Brighton
Brighton, on the Sussex coast, is a lively seaside city of pebble beach, Regency architecture, a pier and narrow shopping lanes.
Brighton grew from a fishing village into a fashionable resort in the eighteenth century, and in the early nineteenth the Prince Regent, later George IV, rebuilt his seaside villa as the Royal Pavilion, an Indian-style palace with domes and minarets over an interior in Chinese taste. Palace Pier, which opened in 1899, stretches out over the sea with arcades and rides, and the pebble beach, lined with deckchairs and cafés, runs below the seafront promenade.
Top-ranked sights in Brighton: Devil’s Dyke, Royal Pavilion, Brighton Dome.
