Starting from Tromsø, we travel by minivan into darker, more remote areas where the chances of seeing the aurora borealis are highest. This is a flexible road trip, not a fixed-route tour. Each evening, we carefully study weather forecasts, cloud cover, and solar activity to decide the best direction to drive — sometimes toward fjords, sometimes inland, sometimes along the coast. The goal is simple: clear skies and the best possible conditions to see the northern lights. We drive as far as needed, stopping at scenic locations along the way. If the lights appear, we take your time to enjoy the moment — no rushing, no crowds. About Tromsø

Tromsø is a Norwegian city well inside the Arctic Circle, on an island among fjords and peaks, known for the northern lights and the midnight sun.

Tromsø stands on an island in northern Norway, linked to the mainland by a bridge and a tunnel, with jagged peaks rising across the sound.
