Great lesson — Finn was instructive and patient with us — the girls got some good hang time — would recommend to anyone!
5Surfs up!!
Riley and Clark were our surf instructors for our 4 kids, 9 & 10! They did incredible and our kids all were able to stand up and ride some super fun waves!
5Great time at the Surf Class
This was a great experience. I'm an older, heavier guy and I was worried it wouldn't be for me, but our teachers Finn and Aiden (guessing at the spelling) were knowledgeable, pleasant, patient, and helped every one of us get up on a wave. We had great weather and conditions which was lucky. It was a ton of fun and I'm looking forward to going again with friends next year on OBX My only feedback is that it would have been good to know the meeting spot near the beach up front, as I was staying near by and could have met them nearby more easily. Still, this is a very minor nitpick in what was otherwise an excellent experience and got my excited to surf again sometime.

We absolutely loved our surfing lesson with Finn and Lee. Both of them are great instructors and had great insights and advice for us after every run. Highly recommend!

4Great Beginner Surf lesson OBX/Kitty Hawk
Great for someone who wants to try surfing for the first time, and do something fun. Some swimming experienced required, beginner friendly, Bit pricey for one hour and 1/2 but all good. Fin is a great instructor very friendly, the assistant instructors are good as well, they assist everybody and make sure they were able to try and ride the waves. Henry is a good kid, he is gonna be an awesome instructor someday. 5 star for instructors four star for overall review because of communication and dis- organization aside from that if you missed where the group meeting will be, chances are low to get the lesson of the day, and you may not able to get a refund. the phone has no voicemail. and chat reply via viator app takes a while. so before booking call them and make sure you get a proper communication line, there also an option to pay later.

- Meet your instructor at our shop for the beach access address for the lesson. If meeting at beach, instructors will be in the beach access parking lot, if you do not see them they may still be in the water from their last lesson so take a peak for someone with surf boards
