The Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Strasbourg was built over five centuries and combines Romanesque and Gothic styles. La Petite France, also known as the Old Town, is probably the most picturesque part of Strasbourg. With its locks and bridges, it reveals the canals of the Ill river and offers some of the best views of the city, especially towards the Cathedral.
Built in the 13th century out of wood, this bridge complex is part of the Old Town and preserves 4 stone towers once used as watchtowers and prisons.
Inaugurated in 1998, it features a striking exterior artwork added in 2018, designed by a duo of New York street artists.
A Protestant church and a Catholic church that uniquely share the same site, showcasing the multicultural and open spirit of the city.

Nearby, Petite France is a district of half-timbered houses, canals and locks, with the Ponts Couverts, bridges once roofed in wood, and the Vauban Dam.
