Barnstormer Winery is located on 16 acres of property and vineyards, housed in a historic, pre-civil war built 170-year-old renovated barn. We are located on the southwestern shores of Seneca Lake and we provide a personalized, informative wine tasting experience with a quality over quantity mentality. We strive to make wine approachable and believe anyone should be able to enjoy a glass of wine regardless of where they are on the wine experience spectrum. About Ithaca
Ithaca is a Finger Lakes university town at the head of Cayuga Lake, a place of waterfalls, gorges, farmers' markets and two campuses on the hills.
Ithaca sits at the southern end of Cayuga Lake, one of the longest of the Finger Lakes, in a bowl of hills in central New York. Cornell University, founded in 1865, crowns East Hill, and Ithaca College stands on South Hill, so that students form a large part of the town. The compact downtown has a pedestrian Commons, and the town's slogan, Ithaca is Gorges, refers to the deep, waterfall-filled ravines that cut through the hillsides, even through the campus.
