About Arecibo
Arecibo is a city on Puerto Rico's north coast, known for its lighthouse, sea caves and the sinkhole where a giant radio telescope once stood.
Arecibo sits on the Atlantic coast of northern Puerto Rico, at the mouth of the Río Grande de Arecibo, with a cathedral on its main plaza and a coastal park around the lighthouse.
