Nadi, in the drier west, has the international airport, while Suva, the capital and biggest city, sits on the wetter south-east coast with a harbour, a busy market and colonial-era buildings. Between them the Queens Road follows the Coral Coast, a stretch of fringing reef, beach resorts and small villages.
