5We had an amazing...
We had an amazing experience exploring the Monkey Fingers in the Dadès Valley with our guide, Omar. My husband and I booked a private tour, and we spent more than four hours with him discovering this incredible natural wonder in depth. The hike is definitely best suited for active travelers, but it was absolutely worth the effort and turned out to be one of our favorite experiences during our entire trip to Morocco. Omar guided us through the spectacular rock formations, narrow passages, and beautiful landscapes, making the whole adventure both exciting and memorable. One of the highlights came toward the end of the tour, when we stopped to have traditional Moroccan tea with locals inside a cave. It was such a unique and authentic moment and made the experience even more special. We had a fantastic time with Omar and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an active, authentic, and unforgettable experience in the Dadès Valley!
5Guide Moubarak was wonderful
We had Moubarak as guide. He was wonderful. A local boy who knows all the routes through the valley. He will tell you lots about the fruit growing in the nature, locals who work in this region, maroccain culture, and much more. Above all, he was very kind and checking is with us multiple times. He really had the goal to give us a wonderful time. If you book this tour, you want Moubarak as your guide!
5Hiking/lunch
Amazing hiking adventure with our guide Larcen who was very knowledgeable in all aspects in this area. Fabulous hike that he adapts to all fitness levels. The best day! We included lunch which was fantastic. 100% recommend. Thank you. Cate & Alex
5Amazing experience
We did the 1.5h excursion with a local guide: Abdu (+212 6 04 26 51 87) and it was amazing, he is a beautiful person and very prepared and the tour was great.

Muhammad was a wonderful guide for our family! He was peaceful, knowledgeable, and even invited us back to share tea with him afterwards. I would recommend this beautiful hike with him to anyone!

Boumalne Dades is a small town on Morocco's Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, at the mouth of the Dadès Gorges, with red cliffs and Berber villages.
Boumalne Dades lies in south-eastern Morocco on the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, where the Dadès river flows between the High Atlas to the north and the Saghro mountains to the south. It is a small town of cafés, shops and flat-roofed houses, and an important junction on the road between Ouarzazate and the desert.
