Parasailing Langkawi is all about gliding in an open parachute high above Langkawi to get the best view of the island. About Langkawi

Langkawi is an archipelago of around a hundred islands off Malaysia's north-west coast, with limestone hills, mangrove creeks and white beaches.

Langkawi lies in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Kedah, close to the Thai border, with one large main island ringed by around a hundred islets. Granite and limestone hills rise sharply from rice fields and rubber plantations, and the main town, Kuah, is the ferry port. An eagle statue at Dataran Lang recalls the bird that, by a common explanation, gives the island its name.
