About Ouzoud
Ouzoud is a village in the foothills of Morocco's High Atlas where a tiered waterfall drops about a hundred metres into a gorge of olives and monkeys.
Ouzoud is a small village in the Azilal province, on the northern edge of the High Atlas, where the Cascades d'Ouzoud, a wide waterfall that drops about a hundred metres in several tiers, pour into a deep pool. The village's lanes lead down through olive groves to viewpoints and a path along the river at the base of the falls.
