• 5Fun even going alone!

  The bus can come and get you directly at the resort/hotel you are staying. It’s very fun for kids but beware: you might have to buy some souvenirs if they liked the monkeys 😜 Very fun to do solo. I was alone and had fun with other travellers. Everyone is usually friendly!

  Worth every penny. You gets lots of time with the monkeys. All the monkeys, facility was clean. Our tour guide, Flower, the driver, Fabio and our Monkey-land Guide, Tito were amazing!!! Soooo nice. Full of information too. I completely recommend doing the longer option. Will definitely do this again.

About Cabarete

Cabarete is a beach town on the Dominican Republic's north coast, known for steady winds, kitesurfing and windsurfing, and a relaxed strip of cafés.

Cabarete curves round a bay on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, near Sosúa and Puerto Plata, with one long beach and a main street of cafés, shops and open-air restaurants. Trade winds blow steadily across the bay, which has made it one of the Caribbean's main centres for kitesurfing and windsurfing, and the water in front of the town is dotted with sails.
