With numerous companies in the media and advertising industry, the MedienHafen is one of the liveliest scenes in Düsseldorf. Gehry are spectacular, symbolically the open forms of the state parliament and, in the truest sense of the word, the Rhine Tower is outstanding.

About Düsseldorf

Düsseldorf is a Rhineland city of art, fashion and business, with a riverside promenade, an old town of brewpubs and modern harbour architecture.

Düsseldorf spreads along the east bank of the Rhine, and the riverside promenade below the Old Town is where the city gathers. The Altstadt is packed with brewpubs serving altbier, a dark copper beer, and is nicknamed the longest bar in the world. Close by, the Rheinturm television tower rises above the Medienhafen, a former harbour now lined with sculptural buildings by Frank Gehry and other architects.
