5Definitely worth to try and do again
Excellent experience. The organisation was very smooth and the communication was pretty easy. Our instructor did a great job explaining and taking care of us.

5Highlight of our holiday.
Our family of four (mum, dad and two teenagers). had the most wonderful time land sailing. Our guide, Dmitris was so friendly and helpful. The meet point is very much in a rural area (car needed) , but follow the instructions and you will be fine. The experience was about an hour in length, which was perfect. Overall, this was the highlight of our holiday, especially as there are some lovely restaurants on the approach road for lunch afterwards. Overall, highly recommended.
4Fun, but educate yourselves beforehand
I really enjoyed this, but have lots of experience of dinghy sailing. If you haven’t sailed before I would suggest doing some reading of the principles beforehand because 5 minutes of tuition isn’t sufficient. Also wear long trousers & tops, you may capsize & you need protection as the ground is harder than water! Also I suggest old clothes as you’re sitting in a mesh seat, so if the salt flats are damp you’ll get covered with splatter from the wheels. Finally, if you’re using the providers transport from the cruise port, there is an extra 20 Euros charge per car load. This information is hidden away on the PDF ticket, but Viator are supposed to be putting it somewhere more obvious so others don’t miss it like we did!

The land Sailing ⛵️ was a great experience! Lots of fun. The transportation was subpar and not adequate for our group.
5Marvelous Experience
We had a marvelous time! Our guide taught us the basics before we started. He helped us as we needed it. He took photos and video of us as we played. Sand sailing is an unforgettable thrill!

About Limassol
Limassol is Cyprus's second city and main port, with a medieval castle, a long seafront, wine villages in the hills and Roman ruins close by.
Limassol sits on the south coast of Cyprus, a port city with a modern waterfront of towers and marinas beside an old town of narrow lanes. The medieval castle near the old harbour is traditionally linked with the wedding of Richard the Lionheart and Berengaria of Navarre in 1191. The Molos promenade runs for kilometres along the shore through gardens, and the central market sells fruit, fish and spices.
