Explore this beautiful and amazing city, Kigali, known as the safest and cleanest city in East Africa. Stops include a trip to the top of Mt. Kigali for views of the city and the countryside, a milk bar, a neighborhood market, a mural walk, a great Rwandan lunch, the best coffee around, a ride on a water taxi, a neighborhood walk, and it ends at the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Our tour concludes around 3:30 pm at The Kigali Genocide Memorial. Our driver and vehicle will wait with you until 5 pm (when the memorial closes) for those interested. We highly recommend visiting the Memorial. There is also an option to visit Ubumwe Grande Hotel rooftop bar for those not interested in visiting the Memorial. At the rooftop bar, you can admire the magnificent view of the city while sipping coffee or tea or enjoying some alcoholic drinks (at your own expense).

About Kigali
Kigali is Rwanda's capital, a tidy city on green hills in the middle of the country, with memorials, craft markets and routes to gorilla country.
Kigali spreads across several hills in the heart of Rwanda, at about 1,500 metres, so the air is mild all year. The Kigali Genocide Memorial tells the story of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi and honours those buried there. The Kandt House Museum holds natural history displays in the house of the German colonial resident Richard Kandt, and the Inema Arts Centre shows contemporary Rwandan art.
