The Temple of the Tooth Relic is a sacred site in Sri Lanka that has been around for centuries. It was built in honor of the tooth relic, which is said to have been left behind by Buddha himself. The temple itself is a complex structure that includes a large statue of the tooth relic itself, as well as smaller statues representing the different stages of Buddha's life.
The Peradeniya Botanic Garden is a botanical garden in the city of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. It is the oldest botanical garden in the country and one of its largest. The garden was established in 1836 by the British colonial government and contains tree species native to Sri Lanka as well as many other types of plants that are native or introduced elsewhere. The most famous attraction at this botanical garden is its tree collection which includes some rare species such as the coconut palm (Lodoicea maldivica) which was first planted here in 1875 by Colonel Henry Osmond Brockman who had previously worked on plantations in Malaysia before moving to Ceylon where he began working at Peradeniya Botanic Gardens with Dr William John Elton whom he had met while working on their plantation in Malaysia (1870s).
Sri Lanka is the largest tea-producing country in the world. It's also one of the most beautiful, with a rich history and culture that dates back thousands of years. In Sri Lanka, tea is grown in plantations and processed at factories. The factories are located in the central region of Sri Lanka where it rains less than other regions. This allows for higher quality tea to be produced because it has less chance of being damaged by rainwater.
If time allows, you will also visit Kandy culture show. Where you can see many kind of srilankan traditional dance.

About Colombo
Colombo, a maior cidade e capital comercial do Sri Lanka, reúne edifícios coloniais, templos budistas, mercados animados e um passeio marítimo.
Top-ranked sights in Colombo: Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Independence Square.
