1. After being picked up from your hotel, we begin the Chouwen Tour by heading to one of the most picturesque towns in Lebanon’s Jbeil District. Put your hiking boots on as we walk the ‘Lake Trail’, a 45-60 minute walk which will lead us to the Nahr-Ibrahim, referred to by locals as the river of the Adonis, the Greek God of beauty and desire. Upon reaching the lake, you can enjoy a well deserved swim or relax on the banks and take in the incredible surrounds. Once you have reached a state of relaxation and absorbed the natural beauty around you, we will resume our hike to the top for lunch where you can indulge in the local cuisine and take in the breathtaking scenery.

About Beirut

Beirut is Lebanon's capital on a Mediterranean headland, a Phoenician port city with Roman remains and mountains rising close behind.

Beirut juts into the Mediterranean on a rocky headland, with the snow-streaked peaks of Mount Lebanon rising behind. Founded by the Phoenicians, it became the Roman city of Berytus, famed for its school of law, and the remains of Roman baths lie in the city centre.
