1. Well-timed 2-hour experience with an archaeologist to discover the history and the most interesting characters of the ancient city that was buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Herculaneum represents a unique of its kind, both for the state of conservation of archaeological materials and places. The archaeological site differs from Pompeii thanks to the type of volcanic material that buried it.
