5Great Tour !!!
We did a guided tour with Gal and Liam and it was incredible. The water was clear, the course not too difficult (plenty of rapids, woooo) and amazinv views of the mountains. Our guides were great fun and very reassuring the whole time. Would defo recommend !!!
5Kayaking, Bovec
Well organised, but relaxed kayaking experience. We chose this operator as the initial introduction was enthusiastic but not pushy. After kitting up with the right gear, there was a short drive to the river and some instruction and practice prior to heading out. The day was gorgeous and the water fresh, but so clear. This trip is good for beginners, there's a few small rapids, but mostly fast flowing water with some eddies. The instructor was clear and helpful, and moonlighted as a photographer. We went down the river for about 8k, getting picked up and taken back into Bovec. Pictures were available immediately, a nice bonus. Overall a really fun experience and would recommend.

About Bovec
Bovec is a mountain village in Slovenia's Soča Valley, in the Julian Alps, with an emerald river, waterfalls, rafting and a ski area on Mount Kanin.
Bovec lies in a wide basin in the Julian Alps at the head of the Soča Valley, surrounded by limestone peaks near the Italian border and the edge of Triglav National Park. The Soča river, clear and emerald green, flows down from the mountains through gorges, and the valley saw fierce fighting on the Isonzo front in the First World War. Old war trenches, chapels and cemeteries still mark the slopes.
