This tour is unique in that it combines not only the picturesque mountain landscapes and breathtaking panoramas of Tufandag, but also a deep immersion into local culture: from a traditional Azerbaijani breakfast and a hospitable tea break in Ismayilli to the chance to personally experience the atmosphere of small mountain towns. It brings together active adventures, culinary discoveries, and authentic experiences that cannot be found on standard tourist routes. Note: For guests who would like to see the first mosque in the Caucasus, the “Seven Beauties” Waterfall, we recommend considering our alternative program — the Shamakhi – Gabala tour. You can find the detailed itinerary, program, and tour dates on our page in Shamakhi Gabala. The tour runs everyday and includes visits to all the listed attractions.
The journey begins in Shamakhi with a traditional Azerbaijani breakfast at the Savalan Restaurant. The aroma of freshly baked tandoor bread, delicate cheese, natural honey, kaymak, and hot tea creates a cozy, unhurried atmosphere, preparing guests for the mountain route ahead. This morning meal becomes the first step into the world of national gastronomy.
Tufandag is a place where the beauty of Gabala’s mountains truly unfolds. The cable car offers breathtaking panoramic views, while the fresh mountain air and peaceful walks create a sense of harmony. Here, it’s easy to relax, take beautiful photos, and cherish warm, lasting memories. Note: For guests who would like to see the first mosque in the Caucasus, the “Seven Beauties” Waterfall, and Nohur Lake along the route, we recommend considering our alternative program — the Shamakhi – Gabala tour. You can find the detailed itinerary, program, and tour dates on our page in “Shamakhi And Gabala Tour”. The tour runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and includes visits to all the listed attractions.
After visiting Tufandag, the journey continues to Ismayilli for a traditional tea break. In a cozy setting, guests can relax, experience local hospitality, and share their impressions of the eventful day.

Baku is Azerbaijan's capital on the Caspian Sea, where a walled medieval old town sits beside oil-era mansions and glass towers shaped like flames.
The walled Old City, Icherisheher, is a UNESCO-listed maze of lanes with the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, both medieval. Beyond the walls, grand mansions from the oil boom of the late nineteenth century line the streets, and a long boulevard runs beside the Caspian. The three Flame Towers glow on the skyline, and Zaha Hadid's curving Heydar Aliyev Centre is a landmark of modern architecture.
Top-ranked sights in Baku: Bibi-Heybat Mosque (Bibiheybet Mescidi), Yanar Dag, Baku Old City (Icherisheher).
