Naples is a Gulf Coast city in south-west Florida, with white beaches, a long wooden pier, palm-lined shopping streets and a gateway to the Everglades.
Naples lies on Florida's Gulf coast, a city of wide white beaches, canals, golf courses and palm-lined avenues. Its pier, rebuilt several times since the 19th century, stretches out over the water, and Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South are lined with shops, galleries and restaurants in Spanish-style and tropical buildings. Tin City, a waterfront group of shops, sits beside the river.
