Come with us to get up close and personal with some majestic world class Mule deer. Your guide will get you in position to take some of the most epic photos. About Zion National Park
Zion National Park, in south-west Utah, is a red-rock canyon park of sheer sandstone cliffs, a green river and trails up to dramatic overlooks.
Zion National Park protects Zion Canyon, a gorge cut by the Virgin River through cliffs of cream, pink and red sandstone that rise hundreds of metres. The Mormon pioneers who settled here in the 1860s named it Zion, a place of refuge, and it became a national park in 1919. Great monoliths such as the Court of the Patriarchs, the Great White Throne and Angels Landing line the canyon.
