The interior of the cathedral is equally grand, with beautiful stained glass windows, frescoes, and Michelangelo's famous *Pietà*. The dome offers a stunning panoramic view of Florence and is accessible to visitors who wish to climb the stairs to the top. The Duomo is part of an architectural complex that includes the Baptistery of Saint John and the Giotto's Bell Tower.
