The Dead Sea is a saltwater lake located between Jordan to the east and Israel and the West Bank to the west. It is the lowest point on Earth, with its surface over 430 meters below sea level. The high salt concentration in the water makes it extremely buoyant, and the mineral-rich mud and water are believed to have therapeutic properties. About Tel Aviv
