5Lovely finca, fine guide
The guide was really chill and he was great. The finca was beautiful and interesting. It was nice to see another part of Paraguay. The birds were plentiful and beautiful. My only suggestion is the tour was too long. The tour could be 60-90 minutes shorter. Everyone was ready to go.
5First time bird watching!
As a solo traveler and first time birdwatching experience, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Sebastian and Alberto were our guides for the day, and they made the experience memorable. Even though it was a windy day, we made the most of it and saw so many different species. Alberto has more than 20 years studying birds and is a fountain of knowledge for any curious bird watcher. This experience was the highlight of my visit to Paraguay, highly recommended.
5Interesting
Very interesting trip, lots of different birds, a view of the (wet) Chaco region and not so far from Asuncion. Esteban is a knowledgeable guide.
5My Guide was Esteban:...
My Guide was Esteban: flexible, solution-oriented, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Heavy rain in the days before made our original itinerary inaccessible, but he had a great alternative site. We had fantastic conversations on the way; I learned a lot about the country, its people, politics, nature, and of course the birds. Highly recommended i got really Great fotos to Share Thais experience with Friends and to remember this adventure— definitely worth it!
5Great bird watching in the Chaco.
This trip has an early start at 530am, but that’s necessary in order to get out to the countryside at daybreak for the best bird-watching. It was worth the early wake-up, as Esteban knew exactly where to go on this huge preserve on the edge of Paraguay’s Chaco. He was a wealth of information on the different bird species, and it was a very enjoyable half-day trip.
4Nice activity but watch out for the weather
This is a nice tour that will allow you to see a lot of birds. The weather heavy affects the places that can be visited and probably the activity should have been rescheduled to a less rainy day. It was still enjoyable though.

About Asunción
Asunción is Paraguay's capital on the Paraguay River, founded in 1537, with a riverside palace, a domed pantheon and colonial houses.
Asunción stands on a bend of the Paraguay River, with Argentina on the opposite shore, and was founded in 1537, becoming a base from which Spanish colonists set out to found other cities in the region. The Palacio de los López, a white neoclassical palace on the riverfront, is the centre of government, and the Panteón de los Héroes, a domed pantheon, holds the tombs of national heroes.
