  • 5Our experience with Trekking Planner Nepal — so far ❤️🇳🇵

We are only halfway through our holiday in Nepal, but I already feel that I need to write this review because our experience with Trekking Planner Nepal has been absolutely exceptional from the very first minute. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, everything was organised to the highest standard. We were met at the airport, transferred to our hotel, helped with everything we needed, and given all the information necessary for the journey ahead. Everything was planned down to the smallest details. They say the devil is in the details, and this trip has really proved it. It was exactly those details — many of which we probably would never have thought about ourselves — that made our experience so much easier, safer, more comfortable, more interesting and, most importantly, stress-free. What impressed us especially was how well they prepared us for the trek itself. We were taken to a trekking shop and helped to make sure that we had everything we needed for the mountains. Anything we were missing was taken care of. We were provided with duffel bags, sleeping bags and warm down jackets, as well as great caps and T-shirts. It may sound like a small thing, but it made a huge difference. We never had that moment of suddenly realising somewhere in the mountains that we had forgotten something important or were not properly equipped. The itinerary, the transfers, the equipment — everything had been thought through in advance, so we could simply enjoy the experience rather than worry about logistics. And then there is our guide, Sudip, and our porter, Surya. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better team. With Sudip, we felt safe and looked after at all times. He somehow managed to combine professionalism and responsibility with humour, warmth and a completely relaxed atmosphere. We laughed a lot, we felt comfortable around him from the very beginning, and most importantly, we trusted him completely. Even when the trekking itself became physically difficult, Sudip knew exactly when to encourage us, when to slow us down, when to keep us moving and how to help us enjoy the experience rather than simply endure it. This became especially important because of the changing weather conditions in the mountains. There were risks of heavy rain, landslides, rising river levels and parts of the route potentially becoming unsafe. Sudip was constantly checking the situation, speaking to people along the route, assessing the conditions and adapting our plans accordingly. Thanks to his experience and careful decisions, we reached Annapurna Base Camp ahead of schedule and were also able to leave the mountains earlier, before the weather deteriorated. Yes, at times we had to move faster than originally planned, but there was always a reason behind it: our safety. And somehow Sudip managed to do this without creating any anxiety or pressure around us. Nothing felt dramatic or stressful. We simply kept moving, laughing, talking and enjoying the mountains, while he was quietly making sure that everything was under control. That, for us, says a lot about a truly good guide. And Surya deserves a very special mention of his own. Honestly, we started to think he might be superhuman. 😄 He somehow took on the heaviest load day after day and made it look almost effortless. No matter how difficult the trail was, how steep the climb, or how heavy everything must have felt, Surya was always there with a smile on his face, joking with us and bringing such a light and positive energy to the whole experience. What impressed us most was the way he did his job — so naturally, calmly and seemingly effortlessly. There was never any complaining, never any negativity, never a sense that anything was too much. Just that constant smile, his humour, and this incredible ability to make extremely hard work look easy. We have enormous respect for him — not only for how physically strong and hardworking he is, but for the kind of person he is. His positivity became part of our experience of the mountains, and we genuinely cannot imagine this trek without him. Sudip and Surya together were an absolute dream team, and we feel incredibly lucky that they were the two people who took us through the mountains. ❤️ We are now back in Pokhara, but our adventure together is not over yet. Sudip is still with us, practically 24/7, and it is such a privilege to have someone here who can show us the country, explain things, help organise everything and simply make us feel that we are in good hands. And finally, a huge thank you to Dipak, who organised this entire journey. From our very first conversations, before we even arrived in Nepal, his patience, flexibility and attention to every request were incredible. There were questions, changes and plenty of messages from us along the way, and he somehow managed to make everything work. Now that we are actually here and experiencing everything he organised, we can see just how much thought, work and genuine care went into this trip. Our holiday is still very much in progress, and we still have plenty of Nepal left to experience, so this is definitely not our final review. But halfway through the journey, we can already say that choosing Trekking Planner Nepal was one of the best decisions we made for this trip. We came to Nepal for an adventure, but having people around us whom we could completely trust has made that adventure so much more special. Thank you, Dipak, Sudip and Surya. You really are our Nepal dream team. ❤️🇳🇵

From beginning to end, our trek with Trekking Planner was absolutely perfect. We were able to organise our own bespoke trek directly with Dipak, who was incredibly accommodating and flexible with all of our requirements, including our preferred dates and budget. The whole process was straightforward, well organised and stress-free, which gave us complete confidence before we had even set off. A special thanks has to go to Binod, who was our guide for the entire trip. We genuinely could not have asked for a better guide. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional, and he played a huge part in making the trip such a memorable experience. Binod was amazing and incredibly informative throughout the trek. Whether it was explaining the history and culture of the Annapurna Circuit and surrounding areas we were travelling through, pointing out different mountains and landmarks, or helping us understand the local way of life, he always had an answer and was happy to share his knowledge. He also knew the route extremely well and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at every stage of the journey. What really stood out, however, was how much more than just a guide Binod was. He was great company throughout the entire trip, always positive and good-humoured, and he went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible experience. He was incredibly attentive to what we needed, and we always felt that we were in very safe hands. And, as if being an excellent guide wasn’t enough, Binod also has a hidden talent for guitar! Some of the evenings spent relaxing after a long day of trekking were made even better when he picked up the guitar and played. It was a brilliant and unexpected addition to the trip and really added to the atmosphere. We are extremely grateful to Binod, Dipak and the whole Trekking Planner team for making our trek such an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be using Trekking Planner again for our next adventure in Nepal.

  • 5Trekking the Annapurna Circuit (August-September 2026)

My friend and I have completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek, successfully reaching Tilicho Lake and Thurong La Pass. This was my first time in Nepal, and my first time in Asia, and it was honestly one of the most amazing experiences of my life so far. The experience would not have been possible without our guide, Binod. From day one, Binod made it clear that we would be family throughout the trek, making it clear to us that our safety was the number one priority. He taught us how to best handle high altitude by taking it slowly, regularly hydrating and getting lots of rest. When we approached slightly more sketchy areas of the route, such as the landslide areas up to Tilicho Lake, he took the lead and guided us safely to the top. As well as ensuring our safety, Binod’s infectious positivity made this a trip of a lifetime. Constantly smiling, motivating us when the going got tough, and keeping us entertained at Tea Houses though a combination of singing and Nepalese card games, Binod made every day special. Throughout the trek, we pass through several mountainside towns and villages that each have their own charm and story. I loved having Binod as a guide because he was so good at teaching us about Nepalese culture, informing us about Buddhism and Hinduism, and telling us about his own experiences and how he became a guide. The way he was proud to show off Nepal added to the trek, and allowed us to take some amazing stories back to the UK. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this trek and Binod highly enough- it has been an amazing journey and we cannot wait to come back to Nepal! 🇳🇵

  • 5ABC - 8 day trek

Amazing ABC Trek Experience! I had an unforgettable experience on the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek. Special thanks to Thank You Trekking Planner, Dipak (Boss), and especially Pradeep for making this journey so enjoyable and memorable. Pradeep was incredibly helpful throughout the trek. He supported me whenever I needed assistance and always made sure everything went smoothly. Honestly, I don't think I could have completed the trek so comfortably without his help and guidance. One of the highlights of the trip was the breathtaking sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp. Thanks to Pradeep's excellent planning, we reached the perfect spot at the right time to witness the beautiful sunrise. If we had not followed his plan and schedule, we might have missed that amazing view. His experience, planning, and dedication made the entire trek much more enjoyable. I highly recommend Thank You Trekking Planner and Pradeep to anyone planning the ABC Trek. Thank you for such a wonderful and unforgettable adventure!

About Pokhara

Pokhara is a lakeside city in central Nepal, with Phewa Lake and the Annapurna peaks above it, and the starting point for classic Himalayan treks.

Pokhara lies in a valley at about 800 metres, with Phewa Lake at its heart. Wooden boats cross to the small Tal Barahi temple on an island, and the Lakeside district is a strip of cafés, shops and guesthouses. On clear mornings the Annapurna range and the sharp pyramid of Machapuchare, 'Fishtail', rise above the water, startlingly close to a lowland town.
