About Victoriawatervallen

In het Zimbabwaanse stadje Victoria Falls stort de Zambezi zich met een gebulder van nevel en regenbogen in een smalle kloof.

Lokaal bekend als Mosi-oa-Tunya, de Rook die Dondert, strekken de watervallen zich ruim een kilometer uit over de Zambezi, en de nevel stijgt zo hoog op dat hij van ver te zien is. Paden door het regenwoud aan de Zimbabwaanse kant leiden naar uitkijkpunten met zicht op de Main Falls, de Devil's Cataract en Danger Point, met regenbogen die in de nevel dansen.
