Coasteering it's a fun activity, the evolution of canyoning at sea. A sort of marine trekking, with dives and climbing, moving along a stretch of coast in the intertidal zone, which is the coastal area that depends on the tides. From Niasca to Baia del Cannone in Portofino, the guides take you on a fun, safe journey between land and sea exploring and observing closely the natural wonders of the coastal area. During the initial briefing, you will be shown the behaviors to be followed for personal safety and for respect for the coast, biodiversity and other people. Briefing: around 20 minutes Activity rock/water: around 1.5hours (depending on group size and level) Return:you will return to the starting point walking along the road Group size: max 6 It's necessary to be a good swimmer, have a good physical and psychological shape and be used to doing outdoor activities (e.g. trekking). Remember to bring hiking shoes or sneakers with a good grip sole (to be wet).

- Once you get to Niasca beach (in Paraggi Bay) you will see clearly our office. Come in around 20 minutes before the tour starts and the staff will welcome you: we'll provide you with lockers, changing room and gear.

About Genoa
Genoa, the great port of the Ligurian coast, is a city of steep medieval alleys, grand palaces and an old harbour once ruled by merchant families.
Genoa curves around a deep natural harbour with mountains close behind, so its streets climb steeply. It was a maritime republic in the Middle Ages, and the merchant families built palaces along Via Garibaldi and the Strade Nuove, now listed by UNESCO as the Rolli palaces. The cathedral of San Lorenzo has a striped black-and-white façade, and the Lanterna, an old stone lighthouse, marks the western end of the port.
