Coasteering Portofino

Coasteering it's a fun activity, the evolution of canyoning at sea. A sort of marine trekking, with dives and climbing, moving along a stretch of coast in the intertidal zone, which is the coastal area that depends on the tides. From Niasca to Baia del Cannone in Portofino, the guides take you on a fun, safe journey between land and sea exploring and observing closely the natural wonders of the coastal area. During the initial briefing, you will be shown the behaviors to be followed for personal safety and for respect for the coast, biodiversity and other people. Briefing: around 20 minutes Activity rock/water: around 1.5hours (depending on group size and level) Return:you will return to the starting point walking along the road Group size: max 6 It's necessary to be a good swimmer, have a good physical and psychological shape and be used to doing outdoor activities (e.g. trekking). Remember to bring hiking shoes or sneakers with a good grip sole (to be wet).

Once you get to Niasca beach (in Paraggi Bay) you will see clearly our office. Come in around 20 minutes before the tour starts and the staff will welcome you: we'll provide you with lockers, changing room and gear.

• Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers

• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• Details: 20 mins of briefing + around 1.5hours or less of activity which consists of trekking on rocks and jumping in water. The height of the jumps are between 1 and 7 meters. Jumping is NOT mandatory, you can swim and skip the jump.
