Come to the Tuscan Wine School for an informative and fun class to learn about Tuscany's most important, traditional wines led by an English-speaking local expert. Discover the history and legends behind Tuscany's most significant wines and learn to swirl, smell and sip your way through the different types and styles of wine. The tasting of wines is enhanced by a series of different sample foods, and food pairing tips will be discussed, leaving you able to make better choices when choosing from local names in the city's restaurants.

5Georgia was a fantastic...
Georgia was a fantastic host. Very knowledgeable, she could have kept us for another hour with her expertise in wine and knowledge of Siena in general. Wines and food were plentiful. Even accommodated our need for gluten free food items. Highly recommend the class to anyone.

About Siena
Siena is a medieval Tuscan hill city of red-brown brick, known for its shell-shaped main square, its striped cathedral and the twice-yearly Palio.
Siena was Florence's great rival in the Middle Ages, and its historic centre, a UNESCO site, still looks much as it did then. Il Campo, the shell-shaped square, slopes down to the Palazzo Pubblico and its slender tower, the Torre del Mangia. The cathedral, striped in white and dark green marble, has a pavement of inlaid scenes and a library of painted manuscripts.
