5Great time!
This trip was great! My wife suggested we go on a whale watch. From the greeting when we arrived to everyone’s knowledge of whales onboard was amazing. I would definitely recommend Cape Ann to anyone wanting to spend a day on the water and see some incredible marine life.
5Whale watching
Bring raincoat or windbreaker even if it's warm out, cooler on water. Motion sickness pills and soak all the beauty in.
3Good!
Saw whales so that was great! The host was very informed about the whales and discriping their behaviors.

About Gloucester
Gloucester is a Massachusetts fishing port on Cape Ann, one of the oldest in the country, with a fishermen's memorial, rocky coves and beaches.
Gloucester sits on Cape Ann, a granite headland north-east of Boston, and has been a fishing port since 1623, which makes it one of the oldest in the country. The Man at the Wheel, a bronze fisherman at the helm on the harbourfront, honours the fishermen lost at sea, and the town was the home port of the boat in the book The Perfect Storm. A Catholic church with blue-domed towers, dedicated to Mary as protector of seafarers, watches over the harbour, and Portuguese and Sicilian families still shape the town's culture.
Top-ranked sights in Gloucester: Eastern Point Lighthouse, Hammond Castle Museum.
