In this adventure you can explore an active super volcano and enjoy multiple natural attractions and amazing panoramic views. This volcano has a fascinating history, is part of a group of 10 connected volcanoes and is considered the most representative of Nicaragua. Walking is relatively easy and requires medium fitness. A nature trail will take you through several viewpoints avoiding the most difficult sections. Then we continue the adventure with the visit to the Asososca lagoon of volcanic origin and warm waters. Here you can swim while enjoying more amazing views of the nearby volcanoes. Here we prepare and eat some chicken tacos that we accompany with a natural drink. All this you can do with an experienced guide at your own pace, you will certainly live an epic walk.

Itinéraire
We will ascend in an all-terrain vehicle on the slopes and then walk along a nature trail in a dry tropical forest with abundant shade to the gazebo area where the forest ends. We will enjoy a unique volcanic landscape and take wonderful photos.

About León
León is a colonial university city in north-west Nicaragua, with a vast whitewashed cathedral, rooftop views and a ring of volcanoes.
León lies in the Pacific lowlands of Nicaragua, about ninety kilometres north-west of Managua, with a chain of volcanoes on its horizon. The cathedral, one of the largest in Central America, is a World Heritage site; its white roof can be climbed for views, and the poet Rubén Darío, Nicaragua's great literary figure, is buried inside, guarded by a stone lion. Colonial streets of low, colourful houses, with courtyards and churches, spread around the plaza.
