Points forts
We will meet by the entrance of the museum, to skip the waiting line and enter the museum all together. We will start by going over the Swedish Empire and the war in which Gustav Adolf had the ship commissioned, what was the purpose of the ship? Who was the enemy during these years? Something happened during the construction and the ship sank, what happened? and whose fault was it? Many years later it was found and salvaged, but this was no easy task. We will go over the engineering project together and show you the maps used in the 19th century to find the location of the ship, and how it was found in the 1950s. Once it was salvaged, a time capsule of the 17th century was opened and many secrets were revealed of how life was back then. This tour is the perfect choice for the ones who want to get a deep knowledge about everything that happened, in and out of the ship. Come full of questions, because we want to answer all of them!

5Vasa Museum
Amazing story and amazing museum. Well worth the time!
5Beautiful Vasa
A breathtaking experience, made all the more enjoyable by our friendly guide, Irene. She was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, and her explanations brought the history to life. The museum itself is lovely, and the Vasa is unbelievably imposing and beautiful. Highly recommended!
5A must see & visit
Irene was our guide and greatly knowledgeable on what was an amazing tour. This is a fascinating visit to what was a truly extraordinary series of events for the Vasa ship and its whole demise and then rise to its renovation. If going to Stockholm a must see visit and enjoy the tour . We had to cut short our visit but got to hear the main history of vasa ship and see it , which is a magnificent vessel .
5Take the Tour!
The Vasa Museum was one of the highlights of our trip to Stockholm. We learned so much from our knowledgeable guide, Johannes. Well worth the price since we would have missed a lot had we toured the museum on our own. Highly recommend.
5Don’t miss the vasa museum
Viola was very knowledgeable. The tour and information was great. I was amazed at the size of the boat from the minute you walk in the museum. A must see!
5Must see historical site

About Stockholm
Stockholm is Sweden's capital, spread across islands where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic, with a medieval old town, royal palaces and a vast archipelago.
Stockholm stands on fourteen islands joined by bridges, with water in nearly every view. Gamla Stan, the medieval Old Town, has cobbled lanes, the Royal Palace, the cathedral Storkyrkan and Stortorget square. The Vasa Museum houses a seventeenth-century warship that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628 and was raised in 1961, one of the best-preserved ships of its age.
Top-ranked sights in Stockholm: Stockholm Royal Palace (Kungliga Slottet), Stockholm Old Town (Gamla Stan), Vasa Museum (Vasamuseet).
