Itinéraire
Arrival in Lahore, one of the most interesting and particular cities in Pakistan and the entire Asian continent. We will have time to rest and start organizing the whole adventure. Days 2 and 3: We will have two full days in this special and intense city. Before us are endless incredible visits and strange activities to discover. We will visit the Badshahi Mosque, the Royal Fort, the tomb of Jehangir, the Wazir Khan Mosque, the spice market or the Lahore Strait. We can also enjoy the Sufi musical night, the flag-lowering ceremony at the Wahga border, the visit to the countryside to witness the true Punjabi culture or the strange jobs of "those who cut hair with fire", street dentist, street doctor, traditional bonesetter or ear cleaner.
We will travel from Lahore to Peshawar. We will cross the impressive Rohtas fort. Days 5 and 6: Time to visit Peshawar, one of the oldest and most traditional cities in the world, we are already in what is known as the “tribal zone” of Pakistan. We will have 2 full days to explore the old city of Peshawar, old houses, bazaars, tea shops and 370 year old caravanserais, Sufis smoking hashish in traditional water pipes called Chelum, Afghan refugee camps on the outskirts of Peshawar, factories of weapons, etc
Peshawar – Kalash Valleys; We will drive from Peshawar to Kalash valleys. Along the way we will be able to stop in the most authentic Pashtun villages (still monitored by the local police for safety) and we will visit the Buddhist archaeological site in Takhti Bhai. We will rest once in the Rumboor valley. Day 8 and 9: Two full days begin to visit the Rumboor and Bamburate valleys, getting to know the great Kalash culture. It is a mystical animist culture that lives in 3 isolated valleys deep in the Hindukush on the border with Afghanistan. Their origin is uncertain, although they bear similarities to Eastern Europe in their language, colorful clothing and cuisine. They worship the spirits of the Sun and Moon, the Mountains and the forces of Nature. The only place in Pakistan where you can drink wine, made by themselves.
We wake up in Chitral to visit the Chitrali bazaar, the royal fort and the royal mosque. We will drive from Chitral to Islamabad, to rest in the capital on our last night in the country.

About Islamabad
Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, is a planned green city at the foot of the Margalla Hills, with a vast modern mosque and tree-lined streets.
Islamabad was designed in the early 1960s by the Greek planner Constantinos Doxiadis as a grid of numbered sectors, and replaced Karachi as the capital. It lies below the Margalla Hills, the foothills of the Himalayas, a green backdrop to the city. The Faisal Mosque, a modern tent-shaped building with four tall minarets, is one of the largest mosques in the world and dominates the skyline.
Top-ranked sights in Islamabad: Saidpur Village, Lake View Park.
