Points forts
Starting from Salento Quindío this magical tour is done on the right flank of the Coconut Valley by the private trail walking on ascent about 9 kilometers passing along the way the beautiful landscapes of palms, traditional estates and other landscapes. This beautiful tour is done by small horseshoe paths or on land which will let us see all the splendor of the Coconut Valley until we reach the highest part of the hill passing a small forest that lets us see native species birds among others, and being in the high part of hill LA CONQUISTA DEL CERRO MORROGACHO shows us all the coconut valley, part of the moor of romerales and the Tolima (being clear). In this tour you have the opportunity to see the condor of the Andes, deer, pavas and other birds, when it is close to conquering the top of gacho nose you must be careful as the winds are usually a little stronger than the whole valley.

About Salento
Salento, in Colombia's coffee region, is a small hill town of coloured balconies close to the Cocora Valley and its towering wax palms.
Salento sits in Quindío department at around 1,900 metres in the Central Andes, in the heart of the coffee region. Houses along Calle Real are painted in bright colours, with carved wooden balconies and doors, and the main square is ringed with craft shops and cafés. A stairway climbs to a lookout above the rooftops, and old Willys jeeps parked on the plaza carry passengers to the valley.
