This experience is magical… It starts with a boat trip to one of the most beautiful areas of the Ria Formosa – Barrinha, as it is known among the locals, where the surf lesson will take place. After finishing the first activity, we will travel to another captivating area of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, where the stand up paddle (SUP) lesson will take place.! This experience is aimed at all levels of performance, whether for surfing or SUP. This activity has the duration of approximately 4 hours. All equipment is included (surfboard, suit, Lycra, SUP board, paddle and vest), boat trip, as well as sports insurance.

Itinéraire

  1. The tour will be on the side of the river, where there are easy conditions for riding on the SUP board. The tour passes through the Ria Formosa National Park. We can stop at the oyster farm and watch a great variety of birds and plants.

  2. This place is at the end of Praia de Faro. It is a connecting river and ocean. There is no tourism in this place and you can enjoy the undisturbed beauty of nature.

About Faro

Faro is the capital of Portugal's Algarve, a small walled old town beside the Ria Formosa lagoon, with sandy barrier islands a short boat ride away.

Faro is built around a marina and an old town enclosed by walls, entered through the neoclassical Arco da Vila. Inside, quiet lanes lead to the cathedral and to the Carmo Church, whose Chapel of Bones is lined with the skulls and bones of monks. The city feels more local than the resorts along the coast.
