St. Thomas Beach Metal Detecting Adventure

New for Fall 2026. Hunt the beach with a metal detector for lost rings, jewelry and coins, and keep what you find. Your 3-hour guided hunt starts with a quick training and a seeded bonus hunt, then you search with a waterproof detector and pinpointer. Real beach finds are not guaranteed. A mid-hunt break includes fresh local snapper ceviche with chips and bottled water. Two people can share one detector as a team. You can detect on dry sand or in the water, up to chest deep. It's your choice. No experience needed. A quick 2-minute lesson gets you hunting. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Meeting point is in Annas Retreat (4126 Annas Retreat, St Thomas, VI 00802). Your exact beach and meeting point details are emailed 48 hours before the excursion so we can pick the best conditions.
