Points forts
Gaze upon the city sights from the pinnacle of Chicago, the Skydeck. Located on the 103rd floor of Willis Tower, formerly Sears Tower -- the third-tallest building in the world -- the Skydeck offers spectacular sweeping views and is full of interactive exhibits. To complete your exciting Chicago experience, head to the Ledge, a glass balcony showcasing unbeatable views of Chicago’s top attractions like Wrigley Field and the Navy Pier. We added a brand new Chicago Experience that you start with by the box office prior taking the elevator trip to the 103rd floor. It is a 45,000 sq ft. museum of today. The New Experience is part Chicago History, part Architecural tour, part Selfie Museum and part Children's Museum. This is fun and interactive for all ages. 5A perfect view of Chicago!
A gorgeous view all around Chicago! You do have a time limit on the ledge part (90 seconds) but you can queue up as many times as you want to get as many different photos/videos as you like. The line was no more than 5 minutes each time. I also love the little museum at the bottom before you take the elevator up to the 103rd floor. Don't forget to use the restroom up there as it is the highest potty in Chicago!
4Exhilarating!
A fun experience even for a solo traveller. Plenty of spaces to take in the views and take photos and just appreciate the beauty of Chicago’s archetecture and city planning. The skydeck itself was about as safe feeling as a glass box miles off the ground could be! The timed 90 seconds goes fast though so make sure you have your phone ready. The museum part was largely interesting - a mix of education and photo ops. The staff were generally friendly too apart from the ticket desk where I was met with a monosyllabic mood hoover. Willis Tower is also good for food and toilets too so a handy place to know about generally. Avoid Cava for a salad though. Mine looked like it had fallen out of a tree.
5A view worth the trip
Self guided. Easy access. Stunning views. Weather was perfect. Plenty of photo opportunities and souvenirs for purchase. Lunch options in the building.
5Chicago 4 day vacation
Great vacation package of 360 Chicago and hop on hop off sightseeing bus. The 360 Chicago tour is a must see place in downtown Chicago.
4Very little value for the price!
The views from the Skydeck were spectacular! Before going up, employees took our picture and printed them against different scenes. Pictures were taken by employees, using their company cameras, at The Ledge as well. At the end of our session, pictures were available for us to look at and buy if we wanted them. Here’s my problem: we spent $96 to go up the tower. The views were spectacular but $96 was a lot to pay for walking around and viewing the city and vistas from different directions. The photos taken by employees should have been free, in my opinion. It doesn’t cost $35 to process digital pictures! But that’s what they charged! Too much money for this tourist attraction!
5Chicago from 103 is impressive
Perfect way to see the whole city with details about most of its famous buildings. Nice glass platform. Totally worth it

About Chicago
Chicago is a Great Lakes city on Lake Michigan, famed for skyscraper architecture, deep-dish pizza, blues and jazz and a long lakefront of parks.
Chicago rebuilt itself after the fire of 1871 and became the cradle of the skyscraper. The Chicago River runs through the Loop, where tall towers rise, and boat tours explain the architecture from the water. Millennium Park's mirrored Cloud Gate sculpture, known as the Bean, and the Art Institute of Chicago, with its Impressionist paintings, are close together. Willis Tower has a glass-floored observation deck.
Top-ranked sights in Chicago: Navy Pier, Wrigley Building, The Magnificent Mile.
