1. Roca a Mare or Casstello del molo the jewell of Heraklion city, build by the Venetians in the 16th c. While aboard we have a side by side view to the Castello, or Rocca a Mare (Fort of the Sea). We will pass by and you will admire the emblem of the Republic of Venice, the lion sculpture on white marble, the famous winged lion of St. Mark.

Heraklion is the capital and main port of Crete, wrapped in Venetian walls and bastions of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
