The Palace of Shaki Khans in Shaki, Azerbaijan was a summer residence for the Shaki Khans. It was built in 1797 by Muhammed Hasan Khan. The Palace of Shaki Khans was nominated for List of World Heritage Sites, UNESCO in 1998
Caravanserais were constructed in the early 19th century to accommodate travelers on the Silk Road. Sheki Karvansaray is one of the most unique and memorable accommodations in Azerbaijan. Sheki’s Karvansaray is a phonetic corruption of the word as authentic (and impressive) a caravanserai as you’ll ever see.

About Baku
Baku is Azerbaijan's capital on the Caspian Sea, where a walled medieval old town sits beside oil-era mansions and glass towers shaped like flames.
