Points forts
Instead of just transferring you to Piraeus Port to catch the ferry, you will have the chance to kick back and enjoy the drive along the Saronic Gulf to the edge of Argolic region. We will catch the ferry to cosmopolitan Spetses from the port of Kosta. Boasting a naval tradition, SPETSES is known for her significant contribution during the 1821 War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire! A serene idyllic spice island, feeling like the French Riviera, you will be enchanted by the neoclassical houses and villas, doomed churches fringed by cafes, traditional tavernas lining the road and stylish boutiques! Take a romantic trip around the island on a horse-drawn carriage admiring the grand mansions adoring the narrow cobbled streets. Dapia, the main port is surrounded by cannons and provides a romantic place for a day coffee or an evening drink. You will enjoy long promenades both in the sea and country side. The smell of the sea and the secluded beaches will therapeutically captivate you!

Take in the views as we drive along the south-east coast of the Argo-Saronic gulf in the Peloponnese towards the port of Kosta. The drive to the port of Kosta takes approximately 1 hour & 45 minutes. The boat ride from the port of Kosta to Spetses island takes approximately 25 minutes.
Head to the island's picturesque sun dried beaches ( Ayioi Anargyroi, Ayia Paraskevi, Xylokeriza, Ayia Marina) and swim in crystal clear blue waters with a beautiful pine forest backdrop
Visit the WAR MEMORIAL of the NAVY and the CLOCK in the breathtaking ROLOGIOU SQUARE and last but not least the OLD PORT or PALIO LIMANI.
The House of Bouboulina Built around the end of the 17th Century, the building is shaped like a Π, a detail which at that time indicated the importance of the owner. Bouboulina was a heroine that played a significant role in the 1821 War of Independence. Visit her house, which now operates as a museum to admire its wood-carved Florentine ceiling, 18th and 19th century furniture, interesting collection of old weapons, fine porcelain and rare books. • The House of Hatzigiannis Mexis Today the house hosts a museum exhibiting relics from the War of Independence, letters written by war heroes like Kolokotronis and Athanasios Diakos, a folk art collection and the relics of Bouboulina. The house was built between 1795 and 1798, and was donated to the Greek state in 1938 by the heirs of the Mexis family. The objects on display represent more than 4,000 years of the island’s history.
The church of Panagia Armata (Virgin of the Armata, which means Armed Virgin in Greek) is a white and yellow chapel located on a hill above the old port of Spetses. This lovely church was built between 1824 and 1830 by the Spetsiote captain Ioannis Koutsis, to commemorate and honor the defeat of the Ottoman fleet during the naval battle on the 8th of September, 1822.

About Athènes
Top-ranked sights in Athènes: Acropolis, Parthenon, Acropolis Museum.
