Points forts
Nestled along the renowned Hāna Highway, escape into Maui’s untouched rainforest. As you journey to this serene trail, watch the landscape shift into a world of towering trees, vibrant ferns, and misty mountain air—inviting you into a tranquil retreat far from the crowds. This scenic hike winds through a lush cloud forest, where native Hawaiian plants thrive in the cool, moisture-rich environment. Strolling beneath a canopy of ʻŌhiʻa lehua and koa trees, you’ll catch glimpses of rolling valleys and, if the skies are clear, stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The gentle trail provides a perfect opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with the natural rhythms of the island.

About Maui
Maui is the Hawaiian island of golden beaches, the Haleakalā volcano and the winding Road to Hana, with humpback whales offshore in winter.
Maui is the second-largest Hawaiian island, formed by two volcanic mountains joined by a low isthmus. Haleakalā, a vast dormant volcano rising over 3,000 metres, has a crater of coloured cinder and is famed for its sunrises and starry skies. The beaches of Kāʻanapali and Kapalua on the west face the sunset, and Wailea and Makena on the south coast have calm golden bays.
Top-ranked sights in Maui: Road to Hana (Hana Highway), Molokini Crater, Waiʻanapanapa State Park.
