1. On leaving Positano, the road where possible hugs the coast, its curves opening up a neverending succession of panoramic views and picturesque sights. In Praiano, the houses are clustered together into small villages and cling to the limestone rock.

2. This is a well-known holiday resort situated close to the cape of the same name, and famous in the past for its dockyards, in which merchant vessels were built. The town has a very peculiar history: it was founded slightly behind the coast, on a hill, as a safe harbour against the barbarians. After the barbarian invasions, Ravello has become a very important town. Ravello has also been a famous destination for artists, writers and musicians. Ravello is part of the traditional Amalfi Coast tour and it should definitely be part of your vacation, even if you have got little time to spare.

Positano dévale une colline abrupte vers la mer sur la côte amalfitaine : village vertical de maisons pastel, de bougainvilliers et de criques.
