1. Underground walking tour inside Petrovaradin fortress is 1km long out of 16km long network that stretches through 2/3 of the fortress. Tunnel network is spread in four levels and the tour leads you through the first level that is 30-40 minutes long. Tour guide explains history of the fortress and how the tunnel system would be used for defense of the fortress. Tours are at 12:00 hours every day except Monday

About Belgrade

Belgrade is Serbia's capital at the meeting of the Sava and the Danube, a city of a vast fortress, café-lined boulevards and nightlife on the river.

Belgrade stands where the Sava meets the Danube, and the old Kalemegdan Fortress occupies the ridge above the confluence, with walls, gates and a park that looks over both rivers. Knez Mihailova, the pedestrian main street, runs from the fortress to Republic Square. The Temple of Saint Sava, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, has a white marble dome.
